  • Approach\ The Pavilion skin appears tough, dark and light material converge in a fractal pattern across the elevation. As the building is approached the pattern becomes more complex, the external skin is revealed to be a tessellation of wooden triangles. The dancing pattern around the elevations stir memories of natural boundaries trees/sky, sea/shore, mountains/sky, rocks/shadows. Within\ The space is a calm display of shadow against daylight streaming through the circular perforations, the light gently moving and swaying as figures rotate around the four walls awakens memories of tree shadows swaying in the summer evening. Night\ Electronic light streams forth from within the glowing core as a dazzling display of colour and tone. Construction\ The Pavilion is constructed using prefabricated components that can be easily transported and quickly assembled within 72 hours.
